This project involved the full renovation of an older residential property along Ngong Road, Nairobi. The goal was to transform the house into a modern, livable home aligned with the client’s lifestyle needs. The scope covered architectural reconfiguration, interior remodeling, and functional upgrades across all major areas. The focus was on improving comfort, usability, and interior quality while introducing contemporary finishes and features.

The Problem

The house had outdated interiors, old cabinetry, and worn finishes that no longer supported modern living standards. The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas required complete upgrades to improve functionality and visual appeal. Existing bathroom layouts did not support the desired level of comfort and luxury. Storage solutions were limited, and several areas of the home did not fully support the client’s lifestyle needs. A full house renovation was required to modernize the property and improve daily livability.

Our Approach

The renovation involved complete interior remodeling, spatial reconfiguration, and installation of modern architectural features. In the living and dining areas, a custom TV unit with an integrated fireplace was installed, lighting was upgraded, walls were repainted, and wooden floors were polished. The kitchen was fully redesigned with new cabinetry, a hood extractor, and modern tiling.

All bathrooms were demolished and rebuilt with new sanitary fittings, storage solutions, and updated tile finishes, including reconfiguring space to introduce a Jacuzzi and steam shower in the master bathroom. Bedrooms were upgraded with modern built-in cabinetry, and a Juliet balcony was constructed for the master bedroom. Additional upgrades included creating a luxury home office, converting the SQ into a refined entertainment space, and developing a scenic outdoor area.

The Impact

The renovation transformed the outdated property into a modern, functional, and refined residential home. Upgraded kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms improved both usability and interior quality. New architectural features, custom cabinetry, and spatial improvements created a cohesive and contemporary living environment.

The addition of lifestyle-focused spaces such as the home office, entertainment room, and outdoor area enhanced the overall living experience. The completed project demonstrates how full residential renovation can successfully modernize an older house while improving comfort, functionality, and interior value.
